Update

After spending an entire day visiting all of the stores downtown, I am happy to report that over 40 stores are participating in our handmade event. Each store will have an "I sell handmade" sign outside their shop and we will create a map for our shoppers so that they can experience handmade on Bainbridge.
We have also been offered a partnership in the late August food and wine festival here on the Island. If any of you are interested in participating, please let me know.

Photos of the bazaar location

The chapel. We are welcome to use the chapel for a concert.
It is quite large and seats many.

Kitchen area. Real Foods, please head over soon to check out the kitchen and make sure that it is equipped with all you need.
Below is the great room which will hold 34 artists. It looks smaller than it actually is. It will be empty of all items pictured here.
Entry way. We can fit a few artists in here if anyone is interested in being shown first.
A great shot of the church.
And another.

Inspiration at it's finest

I just really wanted to give credit where credit is deserved. My amazing cousin/big sister started their Indie Bazaar a long time ago and it is just so neat to see how far they have come. If you haven't checked out their bazaar yet, make sure you do by clicking on the Beehive bazaar logo to the right. Go Steph!

"The Bazaar started in 2004 when Molly Call, Stephanie Higginbotham and Noelle Olpin, three local moms all with a serious creative bent, decided they needed a venue where they and their friends could share their arts and crafts with others in their community. They launched the original event from one of their own homes with a handful of artists and it was mostly attended by friends and family. Since then the maternal trio has grown the Bazaar into a bi-annual, multi-day event with more than fifty artists and thousands of visitors from all over the state".
